Revitalising Geographe Waterways is overseen by the Vasse Taskforce, chaired by Hon Pierre Yang, Parliamentary Secretary to Minister for Water, with representatives from local and state government agencies, water service providers and catchment groups.

The Vasse Taskforce provides strategic direction and support to the lead agencies responsible for delivering on projects under Revitalising Geographe Waterways and reports to the community on outcomes of activities undertaken to improve waterway health.

With representatives from 9 organisations, the establishment of the Taskforce reflects a strong commitment across Local and State Government to address water quality problems in the Geographe Catchment and improve the management of key water assets.
